A turn of the large elegantly shaped key magically produces one of Mozart‘s melodies from inside the solid beech wood ball. The 18-note chime is ‘Voi che sapete’ from ‘Marriage of Figaro’ and plays whether the ball is still on a shelf or rolling across the floor.
Manufactured by Siebensachen in Germany in a village on the edge of the Black Forest, the chime is mounted inside premium beech wood that has been fashioned into a perfect sphere. The only hole in the ball is where the wind-up key enters and although the mechanism remains totally hidden the music will always escape the boundaries of the beech case.
A 20mm diameter metal ring can sit unseen underneath the ball to allow it to rest still on a shelf or mantlepiece.
92mm diameter, solid beech, waxed
Miss Monnipenni is crafted from solid German beech, has striking tan leather ears and a matching leather 'plug' at the base that provides access to funds. She even comes with a starting investment of one penny inside.
Wonderful gift for the new baby in your life.

C is for cat? D is for dog? Not in this book! Here, Colossal Cornelius captures his companions with his camera and Daisy the diver dares a death-defying dip with dinosaurs. In Alphabetics, each of the alphabet’s twenty-six letters is depicted with an awesome alliteration—not to mention an illuminating illustration—that will captivate and stimulate young minds.
Although the lettered tales are meant to be humorous and fun, they also serve a commendable purpose. Complex words are introduced to expand children’s vocabularies and linguistic horizons. The book includes a glossary so that readers can look up any terms that are unfamiliar to them.

The book features amusing comparisons that make units of length, distance, weight, speed and time easier to grasp. The Queen of England’s crown, for example, weighs more than 100 portions of cotton candy. It would take eight days of travel in an elevator through the Earth’s center to reach the other end. When the world’s oldest living tortoise was born, there were no electric lights, telephones, cars, or airplanes.

Themis prism is the 3rd addition in the Themis Mobile series designed by Clara von Zweigbergk who was inspired by the geometric design of polyedra.
